Silks styles and silk weaves tend to vary from country to country. The silk that I buy is generally from Thailand, which is known for its ‘raw’ silk and brilliant dyes, or from India where silk scarves are generally extremely colorful with very interesting patterns.

this wonderful thread that eventually is spun and refined into something of great beauty.
My cashmere and wool scarves all come from Kashmir, India. Soft, elegant and warm, these
scarves are works of art. The feel, the design, and the texture make cashmere from Kashmir
truly special.
